Editor's Pick: L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Shampoo And Conditioner
When it comes to my hair, I like to keep things very simple and to the point. As a 20-something student and full-time intern, it’s hard to find the time to indulge in seven-step hair care routine every morning. I’m more of an air-dry-and-go kind of gal. Because I struggle with frizzy, dark brown hair, on most days I really need my shampoo and conditioner to keep their end of the bargain.
When my boss told me to give the L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Daily Detangling Conditioner a shot, I couldn’t resist. I had my eyes set on the beautiful hair prize and I wasn’t disappointed.
Whether you’re hunting for a new shampoo or you’re a product junkie who keeps tabs on the latest launches, this L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Daily Detangling Conditioner is definitely something to keep on your radar.

Why Use L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Daily System Detangling Conditioner
I’ll be honest: When I first saw the packaging, it was love at first sight. I’m a sucker for pretty products. The L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo, which I received as a gift of the brand, comes with actual calendula and chamomile flowers inside—resembling a beautiful terrarium made just for your shower. The addition of these florals gives this good-looking shampoo a sweet but subtle scent that reminds of me of springtime. As an added bonus, the shampoo is intentionally packaged in a square shape to hold the maximum amount of product while reducing the amount of plastic used. Between the aesthetics, smell, and strides toward sustainability, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sold before even trying the shampoo.
Thanks to long days of the gym, work, school, and dance rehearsals, my hair often takes the brunt of my busy schedule. I usually gravitate towards products that are going to help reduce frizz and clean my hair without making it feel extra dry. After my first time trying this shampoo, my mane felt freed from all the sweat and subway fumes it has to endure daily. Honestly, it felt so squeaky clean that I was nervous it would leave my hair feeling rough. However, the Daily System Detangling Conditioner (formulated with aloe essence) quickly dispelled any concerns I had. Fast forward to lunchtime when my hair was fully dry and it was soft, manageable, and required no extra time to style.
The coolest part about this golden shampoo is that once you’re all out, you can visit L’Oréal Professionnel salons and have your bottle refilled up to three times. Might as well book yourself for a blowout while re-upping on your shampoo—it’s a true win-win to me!
How To Use L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Daily System Detangling Conditioner
When it comes to this duo, there are no extra thrills and frills in how to use it. Once you get into the shower and wet your hair, apply a quarter-size amount of shampoo and lather the product throughout your scalp and roots.
Once you’ve rinsed your mane, it’s time to go in with the conditioner. The bottle recommends applying the conditioner evenly throughout your locks and then rinsing thoroughly. I abide by the unspoken rule of letting your conditioner sit in your hair while you take care of the rest of your body. Conditioner is usually the last thing I rinse before stepping out of the shower and style as usual. In my case, that’s with one or two pumps of the L’Oréal Professionnel Huile Radiance Mythic Oil and voila! I’m ready to take on the day.
If you’re looking for soft and shiny strands that don’t require a ton of effort, give the L’Oréal Professionnel Source Essentielle Delicate Shampoo and Daily System Detangling Conditioner a try. It’ll be worth it considering the beautiful results and idea that you’re practically saving the world—one shampoo at a time.
