About Theresa Adams
With over 11 years behind the chair at Dop Dop Salon in New York City, Theresa Adams is an educator and Artist for L'Oréal Professionnel. A triple threat, Theresa brings a unique blend of skills to the salon and education forum as a colorist, stylist and educator. Before coming to Dop Dop, she worked as a freelance artist doing editorial work in the film, fashion, and music industry.
As an Artist for L'Oréal Professionel, her specialty is texture, balayage highlighting and creative color techniques. She is sought after in L’Oréal Professionnel salons and within the Academy, traveling nationally for the brand. For over a decade, not only has Theresa worked behind the chair but also behind the scenes for television, editorial and fashion week for designers like Betsy Johnson, Carlos Campos, Narciso Rodriguez. Theresa has been featured on major stages for beauty industry shows, including: Behind the Chair Cut, Color and Style Show, the International Beauty Show, NYC, Long Beach I.S.S.E, and presenting with color chair members, at Intercoiffure.
Sharing her experience and creativity with other stylists to help grow their artistry and business is what drives Theresa as an educator.
